HOW IS SCULPTRA® PERFORMED?
Sculptra is injected with a thin needle that is used to deposit Sculptra® at a specific depth along your wrinkles. We use multiple injections to produce even and natural-looking results. More than one treatment is typically required for optimum results.
WHAT IS THE RECOVERY LIKE AFTER SCULPTRA®?
No recovery or downtime is needed after your Sculptra® injections. You may notice a small amount of swelling and redness around each injection point that lasts approximately one to two days. After the injections, you will notice a slight reduction in the wrinkles thanks to the gel formulation. Collagen production can take several weeks, and you will notice a gradual improvement in your wrinkles.
HOW LONG DO SCULPTRA® RESULTS LAST?
In clinical trials, Sculptra® provided anti-aging benefits for up to two years. Factors that will influence the longevity of your results are how quickly your body breaks down the new collagen and if your skin undergoes any additional aging.
