KRISTEN GATHRIGHT, PA-C

Kristen Gathright, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in medical and surgical dermatology. Kristen is a native Texan who proudly attended The University of Texas in Austin to receive a bachelor’s in human biology. After graduation, Kristen worked as a dermatology medical assistant in Austin and quickly fell in love with the field. She furthered her medical education by receiving her master’s in physician assistant studies at UNT Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas in 2019. During this time, she gained valuable experience in dermatology, surgery, and plastic surgery rotations. Kristen has since been practicing medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology in Austin, New Braunfels, and surrounding areas. She has a passion for procedural dermatology and educating patients on skin health and skin cancer prevention and detection.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her fiancé and two long-haired dachshunds. Her hobbies include watching UT football, traveling, and fishing off the Texas coast with her family.

Kristen is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Texas Society of Dermatology Professional Associates.
