Dr. James F. Boynton, M.D., F.A.C.S., is a board-certified plastic surgeon with over two decades of experience in cosmetic and reconstructive procedures. He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston and completed his general surgery residency at the Phoenix Integrated Surgical Residency program. Dr. Boynton further honed his expertise through specialized fellowships in microsurgery at CHRISTUS St. Joseph Hospital and hand surgery at Baylor College of Medicine before completing his plastic surgery residency at CHRISTUS St. Joseph Hospital.
Throughout his career, Dr. Boynton has been recognized for his excellence in plastic surgery, having been named a Texas SuperDoctor and a “Top Doctor” by Houstonia Magazine. He has also served as the Section Chief of Plastic Surgery at Memorial Hermann Memorial City Hospital and remains an active member of esteemed organizations such as the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Boynton is passionate about providing personalized, patient-centered care, offering advanced surgical and non-surgical aesthetic treatments. His expertise includes breast augmentation, body contouring, facial rejuvenation, and reconstructive procedures. He is also committed to education, serving as a faculty member for the Houston Methodist Hospital Plastic Surgery Residency Training Program.
Beyond his medical practice, Dr. Boynton has participated in international mission trips, performing cleft lip and palate repairs in Guatemala, Bolivia, and Peru. In his free time, he enjoys swimming, running, woodworking, and traveling.
