Mitchell S. Herold, MD, FAAD

Dr. Mitchell Herold is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic and reconstructive surgeon specializing in the treatment of skin cancer. Dr. Herold earned his undergraduate degree in Microbiology and Cell Science from the University of Florida, before completing his medical degree at the University of Florida College of Medicine, graduating with honors in research.

He completed his dermatology residency at the University of Arizona College of Medicine, where he served as chief resident in his final year. To refine his experience, he pursued a fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology at Skin Care Physicians of Georgia under Dr. David Kent.

Dr. Herold holds additional board certification in Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery and is an expert in advanced reconstructive techniques after skin cancer removal. His clinical and academic interests include cutaneous oncology, procedural dermatology, and laser treatments. He is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American College of Mohs Surgery.

Dr. Herold has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed publications and lectures on dermatologic surgery and complex skin conditions. He is committed to delivering precise, patient-centered care that restores both health and confidence.
