Sunscreen Ban

We have recently discovered that some schools do not allow sunscreen use.

This is concerning due to the increased risk of skin cancer with childhood sunburns. You can read more below.

Dr. John Browning is board-certified in dermatology, pediatric dermatology and pediatrics, and has been in private practice with Texas Dermatology and Laser Specialists since 2013. He completed residencies in pediatrics and dermatology at Baylor College of Medicine, where he served as Chief Resident in Dermatology, followed by a pediatric dermatology fellowship at Texas Children’s Hospital.

His practice covers laser surgery, the surgical management of benign and malignant skin conditions, and superficial radiotherapy (SRT) for keloids and hypertrophic scars. He is principal investigator on a number of clinical research trials and continues to train dermatology and primary care residents as Adjunct Associate Professor at UT Health San Antonio, Assistant Professor at Baylor College of Medicine and clinical faculty at the UIW School of Medicine. He sees patients at the Alamo Heights and Mission Trail locations.
