James Boynton

Dr. James F. Boynton is a board-certified plastic surgeon at Texas Dermatology, specializing in cosmetic and reconstructive procedures including breast augmentation, body contouring, facial rejuvenation, and hand and microsurgery. He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston and completed his general surgery residency through the Phoenix Integrated Surgical Residency program, followed by fellowships in microsurgery at CHRISTUS St. Joseph Hospital and hand surgery at Baylor College of Medicine, before finishing his plastic surgery residency at CHRISTUS St. Joseph Hospital. He has been recognized as a Texas Super Doctor and a "Top Doctor" by Houstonia Magazine, previously served as Section Chief of Plastic Surgery at Memorial Hermann Memorial City Hospital, and serves on the faculty of Houston Methodist Hospital's Plastic Surgery Residency Training Program. He is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons, and has performed humanitarian cleft-repair surgeries in Guatemala, Bolivia and Peru. He sees patients at the Dominion, Alamo Heights, New Braunfels, Mission Trail and Kenedy locations.
